The Latest

There are no words to describe exactly how it feels like to be back to your home city after many years. The minute you land at the airport, you can feel your heartbeat goes up, you feel happy, excited, and overwhelmed with the desire to see everyone and everything in your city right away.

Tbilisi, Georgia

Just to hear your native language everywhere _  reminds you that you are in your home city _ where  you were born and raised, the city that has shaped you as a person you are today, the city that holds a lot of memories of happiness and sadness, success and failures, hopes and disappointments...

At the same time, you see that your home city has changed drastically. It's not exactly the city that has lived in your precious memories for years. Change is good, but it can make you feel like you are a stranger, as if you don't belong to this new version of your home town anymore, as if other people had took over the city you grew up in. But your heart will not accept the changes _ it will continue hold on the memories of the home city that you grew up in...

Anyways, here is a video of my trip to Tbilisi, Georgia. Even though I didn't get a chance to film a lot, I hope I still captured some interesting moments for you.

Happy New Year my friends! After a long break, I'm back with my first post in 2023. I hope, you had a wonderful holiday season and a great start of 2023. I sure had an amazing time because I visited my home country Georgia, after 7 years, and you can imagine my excitement spending the holidays with my family. More about it in my next blog posts, but today I will share with you lessons 2022 taught me and the plans I have in 2023.

Lessons I learned in 2022

#1 lesson I learned is that there's nothing more important than health. No look, no wealth, no success matters if you are are not feeling well. Some unexpected health scare and urgent surgery in November 2022 made me realize that health issues can start at any age, especially, if you're not taking good care of you health. Even though I'm fine now, I will never forget those weeks and will forever be grateful for getting the opportunity to rethink a lot of things in life.

#2 lesson I learned is that I should appreciate every small thing and moment in life because you never know if tomorrow will come.

Plans I have in 2023

1. Keep my health priority.
2. Eat healthy
3. Stay active
4. Worry less
5. Read at least 20 books in 2023
6. Spend more time outdoor, with my daughter
7. Visit a new country
8. Be more present on social media (since I've been absent most of the time)

What are your plans in 2023? Let me know in the comments below.

Fall Decor and Halloween shopping haul _ my first Youtube video

I know, it might seem late to shop for Fall Decor but I went to Homegoods and HobbyLobby other day and filmed my first ever vlog for my new YouTube Channel. Check it out below and let me know what you think. Thanks for reading/ watching.

A lot has happened since I published the last post here on this blog. The major change was our move from New York area to Dallas area. Moving away from the place that you called home for almost 12 years is never easy. The hardest part definitely was saying goodbye to our friends. Also, leaving behind our house that we spent a lot of time, finances, and effort to renovate and make it look like our favorite place, was another sad part but life is about changes.

Those of you who follow my blogging journey over the years must noticed that I've been absent from my blog and social media (for the most part) last two years. Not to get into details, I would say, sometimes we all need time for self-reflection and prioritizing things that mean the most and I realized, how much it means to me to have this space on the Internet where I can share my thoughts and experiences with you. Now the main question:

What's the plan for my blog and social media:

Blog: I will be publishing a new blog post every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Instagram: I am back on my Instagram too, where I will be posting a few times a week, so, if you are not following me on Instagram yet, you can do so here _ Nina_Kobi. I will be showing around the new location  and basically, we will be exploring Dallas area together.

Youtube: Surprise! Yes, I'm starting my very first Youtube channel where I will be uploading new videos three times a week It would mean world to me if you could check out and subscribe to my Youtube channel Nina Kobi Official  . I will be posting new videos three times a week.

Thanks for reading.

Fall/Autumn is probably one of the best seasons for memorable and spectacular photoshoot for your entire family. Today, I want to share with you a few ideas where to do your Fall/Autumn family photo shoot:

Fall Foliage

You should always take advantage of this colorful season and find the best Fall foliage in your area to have Fall family photoshoot. There is nothing more beautiful in Fall photos than color-changed leaves in your background (or falling down like in this picture where my daughter is posing in Fall photoshoot)

Blooming Sunflower Trail

One of the most beautiful props for your Fall photoshoot can be blooming sunflower trail. If you can also incorporate something yellow in your family outfits, it would look even more spectacular.

Corn Maze

Another great location for your Fall photoshoot can be corn maze _ not only your family will have fun finding their way through corn maze but it can also be a great spot for your Fall photoshoot.

Pumpkin Patch

How can we talk about Fall photoshoot props without mentioning one of this season's iconic photo prop like pumpkin. Wether you go to pumpkin patch or just have one or two at home, you can always incorporate them in your photoshoot.

Apple Picking

Apple picking can be not only fun seasonal activity for your family but also a perfect place to use as your Fall photoshoot location.

Halloween Event

Last but not least, you can always use Halloween events as memorable props for your Fall photos.
