It's been more than three years since I visited Paris with my then-4-years-old daughter and while I was going through some old posts on my previous blog, I read my "Paris Diaries" and I felt strange. That's when I got the idea of doing this post today: four reasons, I want to go back to Paris.

I want to create happier memories in Paris
Number one reason I want to go back is that I don't want, every time I think about Paris, to think how I felt, when I thought I lost my daughter, or how I got so sick that I couldn't get out of the bed while I had to take care of my little daughter all by myself, or how it felt to force myself to walk from The Eiffel Tower to our hotel in a cold February evening when I was getting sick and had no energy left to walk, or how terrified I was when I saw cocroaches in one of the most popular caffees in Champs- Elysees, and etc.
I want to create new memories so that I will never remember what I had gone through during my first visit.

I want to visit Musee Du Luvre, (The Louvre), La Tour Eiffel (The Eiffel Tower) and other places
Even though we walked to The Louvre, The Eiffel Tower and other places, we didn't get a chance to go inside with my little daughter with a stroller, that made me feel like I failed to follow what I had planned for that trip. So, I definitely want to go back, now that my daughter is older, and explore all the important sightseeing of Paris.

Do more shopping
Obviously, I purchased a few things in paris __ I bought some jewelry and accessocires for myself, toys for my daughter and leather accessories for my husband but I still left Paris with the feeling that I didn't shop enough. So, I would love to go back and spend more time just on shopping.

DeleteYour photos are beautiful. We lived in Paris for awhile and were just recently back there. Paris is a great place to visit over and over. It's also nice to travel with children as they get older and they have a better chance of remembering the trip.

DeleteWhen I lived in Europe my companies head office was in Paris so I used to go all the time. It's such a beautiful city, I really miss it and wish I could just hope on the eurostar like I used to and be there in a couple of hours! Hope you get to go back soon!

DeleteYou should definitely go back and create happier memories with your daughter in Paris. Now that she is older, I bet it will be even more fun visiting all the landmarks and shopping. I visited Paris for the first time in 2017. There is so much to see and do so I would love to visit again too.
